Shares of chip maker Freescale Semiconductor (FSL) are down 10 cents, or 0.6%, at $15.59 this afternoon despite the company reporting fiscal Q3 revenue slightly below the consensus estimate, but beat on the bottom line.
Revenue in the three months ended in December fell 14%, year over year, to $1.01 billion, yielding EPS of 7 cents.
Analysts on average had been modeling $1.03 billion and 2 cents per share.
Sales of microcontrollers, RF and analog chips, as well as networking chips, and cellular chip sales all declined quarter to quarter, the company said.
