Take the Annual Top Wealth Managers Survey

Are you a Top Wealth Manager? If you are a registered investment advisor (RIA) with $50 million or more in assets, AdvisorOne invites you to take part in the 2011 AdvisorOne Top Wealth Managers annual survey, now through May 10.

This year, due to the change at the SEC requiring RIAs with less than $100 million to register with states, we invite state-registered independent RIA firms with $50 million or more in AUM to participate.

The annual survey and the rankings that follow are very popular. AdvisorOne is pleased to have so many of the best RIA firms participate. We will rank the annual Top Wealth Managers by largest average assets under management (AUM) per client.

In addition, in 2010 we added a Top Wealth Managers area of the web site that includes profiles, features, rankings and a sortable database. The data can be listed by several metrics, including AUM, employees, year firm started, state, city or alphabetically.

Participants can look forward to the special analysis and report from our survey partner, Philip Palaveev, president of Fusion Advisor Network and former Moss Adams partner. We have just posted his special report “Top Wealth Managers Quarterly Pulse Part 1: Healthy Again,” from our most recent quarterly survey.

Wealth managers can also participate in the Top Wealth Managers Quarterly Pulse surveys which AdvisorOne.com fields to gauge the state of the wealth management industry during the year.

Want to Know When Surveys Are Underway?

Some of you have written to say you are missing the surveys. Never fear, there is an easy way to know when any of our surveys is going on: Subscribe (at no cost) to “Inside Wealth Management,” our weekly enewsletter, and you will see survey notices posted there.

Top Women in Wealth

One last note: we have underway a survey of Top Women in Wealth, which gauges the views of women in the investment industry. This survey is open to all women who advise, manage wealth, manage assets, or run wealth management firms. We invite you to pass this along to the women at your firm who may be interested. Here is the link to the Top Women in Wealth survey.

As always, we appreciate your participation.
