Monday’s biggest gaining and declining stocks

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) � Shares of the following companies made notable moves in Monday�s U.S. stock market:

Advancers

Annapolis Bancorp Inc. ANNB �shares advanced 5% after the parent company of BankAnnapolis reported a surge in fourth-quarter earnings.

Complete Genomics Inc. GNOM �shares jumped 41.6% to $4.73 each after the genetic-analysis company said it gained a contract to provide genome sequencing for the Mayo Clinic.

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. REGN �shares climbed 12.3% after the biopharmaceutical company revised higher its revenue outlook for 2012.

Decliners

Chelsea Therapeutics International Ltd. CHTP �fell 37.7% to $3.11 after the biotechnology company said health regulators had raised questions about the size and duration of studies of its hypotension drug Northera.

First Solar Inc. FSLR �shares declined 5% after Brigantine Advisors downgraded the solar-panel manufacturer to hold from buy.
